The Hanuman Chalisa Parayanam started a long time before the idea for the Maha Yagna in 2017 was mooted. As part of His Global Goal of 10.8 Billion chants of Hanuman Chalisa, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, enccouraged His devotees to regularly chant the Chalisa at temples to widen the awareness. Taking this simple idea, a small group of GBS Malaysia members, started visiting the Sri Krishna Temple in Scott Road, K.L. on Thursdays to chant the Hanuman Chalisa. It has now been a practise for more than a year, and the size of the group has grown and they still stay committed to the Yatra.
